Matthew is a Student at Law at Bishop & McKenzie. He completed his Bachelor of Arts in History and Philosophy at the University of Alberta, which included a semester studying abroad in Finland, before obtaining his Juris Doctor from the University of Calgary.
During law school, Matthew summered at Bishop & McKenzie and undertook directed research into international environmental issues in support of Public Interest Law Clinic projects. This experience deepened his interest in regulatory systems and the legal issues that can arise when navigating regulatory compliance.
A lifelong skier, cyclist, and climber, Matt splits his free time between his passion for the outdoors and time spent woodworking or enjoying Edmonton's food scene with friends and family.
