New Partners

On January 1, 2018, Bishop & McKenzie LLP congratulates three lawyers who are being made partners with the firm: Kerry Lynn Okita, Jose Delgado and Joshua Fortier. Throughout their time with B&M LLP, all three have proven to be exceptional lawyers. They're dedicated to the firm and their clients, and we couldn't think of a better way to acknowledge their dedicated commitment to the justice system.

With a focus on employment, business immigration and real property disputes, Kerry Lynn brings a wealth of knowledge and international experience to her practice. She has worked in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania on constitutional challenges as well as in Kabul, Afghanistan as a legal officer with the United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan. Kerry Lynn is also an active volunteer at the Women's Centre of Calgary.

Jose specializes in shareholder disputes, insolvency matters, construction law and condominium litigation and he also spends time volunteering at the Edmonton Community Legal Centre.

Joshua specializes in corporate, commercial, real estate law, will and estate planning and estate administration. His previous career as an account executive makes him well versed in day-to-day business and his experience is an asset for local business owners.
