Wanda
M.
Fawcett

Wanda is an associate at Bishop & McKenzie. Her practice focuses on the full range of legal issues pertaining to wills, estates, guardianships and trusteeships.

These matters include creating wills, personal directives and powers of attorney; acting for executors; establishing adult guardianships and trusteeships; and assisting families with special-needs children in their planning.

Wanda is a Trust and Estate Practitioner (TEP), as designated by the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners Canada. Her warmth and empathy are appreciated by clients engaged in the sometimes-emotional task of writing wills and devising guardianships.

Wanda is a longtime volunteer speaker during the Wills Week held annually by the Edmonton Community Foundation. She also teaches continuing education courses on wills and estate planning. Throughout her career, she has been an active member of the Lawyer Referral Service. She is a former volunteer with the Canadian Association of Gift Planners’ Northern Alberta branch, and a past executive member of the Canadian Bar Association’s Wills and Estates section.

Away from the office, Wanda, a wife and a mother of two, has a penchant for exploring the legendary flea markets of Paris.
