Shanna is a partner and a civil litigator in Bishop & McKenzie’s Calgary office. Her practice emphasizes administrative, commercial lease enforcement, employment law and general civil litigation. She regularly acts for clients involved in the self-regulation of professions; those involved in professional disciplinary hearings, including professions such as accountants, lawyers, engineers, realtors, dentists and medical professionals, and others.

She has appeared at all levels of court in Alberta and before many administrative tribunals. For the Alberta Bar Admission Course, she volunteers in the training of articling students on mock chambers applications. Shanna has completed over 95 trials and hearings and possesses keen experience with evidence and cross examinations.

Shanna is confident, direct, and provides succinct summaries along with take-charge efficiency—all qualities she has perfected as the mother of four sons. When not at work, she is in the mountains or in the ocean scuba diving. If you ever get the chance, ask her about her underwater photography.
