A graduate of the University of Alberta, Victoria is an articling student with Bishop & McKenzie LLP and comes with her BA (with Distinction) in sociology and a minor in human geography. She is looking forward to delving into many areas of litigation as she starts her career here. While an undergrad and during law school, she received the Domecki Family Prize in Polish Studies, the St. John’s Legacy Foundation Scholarship and a local Czech and Slovak Association Scholarship.

She discovered her passion for law while volunteering at the Elizabeth Fry Society, and continued to donate her time to Student Legal Services, Pro Bono Students Canada, the Mental Health and Wellness Committee and served as several board positions on the Environmental Law Students Association.

When not volunteering her time to the justice system, Victoria also enjoys helping out at a local cat rescue, experimenting in the kitchen and has recently picked up skiing which keeps her road trips to the mountains frequent! She’s also a talented musician, playing both piano and bass clarinet, and in her downtime, enjoys good books, puzzles or board games with friends.
