Zachary is an associate at Bishop & McKenzie. Prior to completing his J.D., he completed a Bachelor of Commerce degree, double-majoring in International Business and Business Economics and Law, graduating with honours with distinction.

Practicing primarily in the areas of business and corporate-commercial law, Zachary has a wide range of experience in many operational aspects of business enterprises. He has acted on behalf of both vendors and purchasers in several commercial transactions.

With a particular interest in tax and strategic corporate planning, Zachary has advised on and implemented the incorporation and/or reorganization of many business structures. To further enhance the value added from his services, Zachary is currently completing the three-year Chartered Professional Accountants In-Depth Tax Course.

Zachary is also actively developing his knowledge in intellectual property law. He has experience in and has advised on the development, protection, sale, and licensing of software. In that capacity, Zachary has gained experience developing software for industrial use as well as applications on the Apple App Store.

Outside of the office, Zachary is an outdoors and sports enthusiast and plays in the Edmonton men’s premier division soccer league.
