Blair is a managing partner at Bishop & McKenzie. His corporate and commercial law practice focuses on practical solutions and exemplary service in commercial engagements and contracts, joint ventures, succession planning, borrowing, buying and selling.

He acts for major commercial lenders and bankers in the preparation and placement of security regarding commercial loans. He also acts for small and medium-sized, locally based corporations and owner-managed businesses on a wide range of matters. Those include commercial engagements, joint ventures, taxes, borrowing, buying and vending.

Blair is active in the community, serving on the board of directors of the Edmonton chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth as the Vice President of Membership. Blair also serves as a liaison for the firm to Interlaw, and is an active member of Bethel Lutheran Church in Sherwood Park. 

A lifelong Edmontonian, Blair finds great satisfaction problem solving for local entrepreneurs and industry players who contribute to the prosperity and growth of the City and region.

He and his wife are the busy parents of twin daughters. But when a free moment arises, Blair enjoys downhill and cross-country skiing, hiking, paddle boarding, running and camping with his family. A lifelong fan of travel, Blair is always looking forward to his family’s next big adventure.
