In Bishop & McKenzie’s endeavor to help as many people as possible, we are taking part in the Queen’s Bench Amicus Pilot Project in Calgary. Organized through Pro Bono Law Alberta, the project is designed to provide court assistance to unrepresented litigants at the Justice, Masters and Registrar levels of the Court of Queen’s Bench.
This year marks the 25th anniversary of Bishop & McKenzie opening a Calgary office. We have been practising in Alberta for well over 100 years, with our Calgary office being a crucial part of our recent history.
Wayne Johnson, the partner instrumental in starting our Calgary office, gave a wonderful speech at the Calgary office’s celebration. The following are a few of his comments:
