We have assisted and guided developers through all of the planning and development processes of municipal authorities. We have provided advice on strata plans, condominium developments and legislative requirements. We represent condominium owners and corporations in construction disputes against builders and developers, and in recovery of assessments from unit owners.
We provide advice and referrals with respect to occupiers' liability, insurance and banking questions, and the obligation to maintain common areas. We advise condominium boards and corporations on reserve fund requirements and capital replacement reserve funds.
We also regularly advise residential and commercial managers of their contractual and statutory obligations, and assist them in the collection and enforcement of arrears, as well as other financial matters.
