Joseph is an associate at Bishop & McKenzie. He hails from Edmonton and spent most of his academic career here, but travelled to the Netherlands for his final year of undergraduate studies and a semester at the University of Copenhagen in Denmark during law school.
While at law school, he was on the executive committee for the University of Alberta Law Students’ Association and a representative of the Faculty of Law on the UofA Intramural Council. Joseph focuses on solicitor’s work relating to the growth and development of the local economy, particularly regarding small and family-run businesses.
A gifted musician, Joseph has achieved Level 8 in the Royal Conservatory of Music in piano, and also plays the guitar and mandolin. In addition to his creative pursuits, Joseph was part of the Tortfeasors law hockey team and the Golden Barristers rugby team. He also received his Bronze Medallion with the Life Saving Society, and participated as a Certified Hockey Alberta referee.
When he’s not feeding his love for travel and nailing DIY projects, you can find Joseph camping and fly fishing in the summer, or playing hockey in the winter.
