Wanda is counsel at Bishop & McKenzie. Her kind and empathetic approach incorporates years of experience, patience, and getting to know her clients.
Wanda's practice focuses on the full range of legal issues relating to wills, estates, guardianships and trusteeships. These matters include creating wills, personal directives and powers of attorney, acting for personal representatives, guardians, trustees and assisting families with special-needs children.
She is a Trust and Estate Practitioner, as designated by the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners. Often, the biggest indicator for success in Wanda's practice are the cards and thanks she gets from her clients. The extra kindness she provides makes an immense difference for those who need it most.
Wanda spent many years as a volunteer speaker during the Wills Week held by the Edmonton Community Foundation. Throughout her career, she has been an active member of the Lawyer Referral Service. She also teaches legal education seminars for Next Step Continuing Education and Metro Community College, and provides seminars on wills and estate for various organizations. Her volunteer work extends to the SSAC hockey club, her community league, children's school, and Inclusion Alberta and the Food Bank.
Wanda and her husband have two children. She enjoys running and golfing with her husband.
