Larry P. Carr, Q.C. is counsel at Bishop & McKenzie, with a practice focusing on corporate and commercial law. Larry takes a practical approach to law and develops efficient strategies to accomplish his clients' objectives, particularly in the areas of:
mergers, financing, wills and estate planning, collections, wrongful dismissals, and leases.

Born and raised in Ottawa, Larry practiced law for an international real estate developer and an international pipeline and heavy construction company before returning to private practice in Edmonton in 1982, where he practiced at his own firm for over 30 years.

A Distinguished Toastmaster and frequent speaker and lecturer on a variety of legal topics, Larry has served as president of the Edmonton Bar Association and chair of Business Law and Securities sections of the Canadian Bar Association (Alberta Branch). He has also served on provincial and federal constituency associations, the Financial Advisory Committee of the Alberta Securities Commission, the Executive of the Mortgage Loans Association of Alberta, as well as on the Board of the Edmonton Chamber of Commerce.
