Wayne is counsel at Bishop & McKenzie in Calgary. In fact, he established that office in 1988. In his commercial real estate practice, he represents public and private real estate companies who are buying, selling, developing and leasing shopping centres, industrial properties, office buildings and multi-family projects.

What sets Wayne apart isn’t just his knowledge—it’s how he communicates it. No matter how complex or challenging the details of a deal may be, Wayne takes the time to explain things to his clients in plain English. Maybe that’s because of the way he was brought up. In all he does, Wayne adheres to the principles of quality customer service he learned working in his father’s small business: be responsive, time-sensitive, and straightforward.

Wayne and his wife have seven children and nine (and counting) grandchildren. When he’s not immersed in family-focused activities, he volunteers extensively with his church. And when he’s not doing that, he loves a good book, cycling, golf, tennis, and squash.
