Kathleen (Katie) is an associate in Bishop & McKenzie’s Edmonton office. Her areas of practice are Business Transactions and Corporate Law, Wills and Estate Planning, Estate Administration, Commercial and Residential Real Estate and Commercial Leasing.

Katie’s work in these complementary practice areas allow her to provide comprehensive advice to her clients, with a keen understanding of the full picture. She works closely with her clients to find the best way to express their intentions through legal documentation, exercising sensitivity to the personal nature of estate planning. Katie has experience smoothly and effectively handling commercial and residential real estate purchases, sale and refinances, and has the depth of experience necessary to effectively negotiate commercial leases on behalf of her clients.

When Katie is not at the office, you may find her volunteering with the Edmonton Community Legal Centre’s evening drop-in clinic where she assists community members with estate administration issues. Outside of the practice of law, Katie enjoys keeping active through yoga, running and weight training, and she’s most happy when cooking and hosting friends and family.
