Craig Rubis is an associate with Bishop & McKenzie’s Edmonton office, working in Banking and Commercial Lending, as well as Business Transactions and Corporate Law.

Growing up in the quiet hamlet of Beaumont, AB, Craig’s interest in all things corporate began with founding and operating his own small landscaping and masonry business, and working as a summer law student at ATB Financial.

During his MBA studies, Craig was the recipient of the Dean’s MBA Entrance Scholarship and awarded the Tom Burns MBA Prize in International Business. He completed the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and has passed level 1 of the CFA program. While studying law, Craig also achieved an award for Academic Excellence in Corporate Finance.

In his downtime, Craig enjoys participating in a broad range of activities, including squash, snowboarding, hockey, biking, tennis and surfing. Keen to pass on his love for sports, he also coached minor baseball, and played NCAA baseball in university. When not playing a competitive sport, you might find Craig travelling the world, already having visited 20 countries so far.
