Immo is a partner with Bishop & McKenzie and a real estate lawyer who works in all aspects of commercial real estate, including commercial lending, land development and acquisitions. He believes in a business-partner approach with clients, and searches for practical, timely and cost-effective solutions in every situation. He has also developed extensive experience in the niche area of condominium property law, and works in a variety of capacities, including advising condominium corporations, condominium boards and parties involved in condominium litigation.

When not at work, Immo likes to get off the beaten path. Early in his law career, he interrupted his practice and spent a year meandering through Asia, primarily in the Himalaya region. He has since made many similar trips, and continues to enjoy places less-travelled. For vacations closer to home and work, he retreats to a log cabin in little-known Alberta coal mining town, and can be found in the local waters with a fly-fishing rod in hand. In the summer he enjoys riding his motorcycle on the back roads, and in the winter he enjoys snow sports in the backcountry. He is a spirited storyteller and has been known to regale listeners in both English and German about his love of books, music and travel.
