Bishop & McKenzie was founded in Alberta in 1903.

Since then, the province has changed. The law has changed, too. But our approach in providing cooperative, client-focused solutions remains steadfast.

Our Lawyers

The lawyers of Bishop & McKenzie possess expertise in all key industrial sectors. Each member of our team excels in their areas of practice by providing practical advice and uncovering success for their clients.

Our Practice

With a wide range of legal services, our practice is extensive. Our approach hones in on creating the most ideal results for our clients. Our deep understanding of the law informs our practice and creates solutions.

About the Firm

We’ve been a law firm since before Alberta was a province. We were around when Alberta joined Confederation. We’ve been around during prosperous times and times more challenging. We’ve grown, learned and adapted. We’re proud to practice law at home, here in Alberta.

We have offices in Edmonton and Calgary. Both work for a diverse range of clients including local and national companies, financial institutions, municipalities, foreign investors and business people operating throughout the province. Although we operate in separate cities we are united in our dedication to results and excellence.
