  • Receptionist

    Bishop & McKenzie LLP Calgary office is currently accepting applications for a full time receptionist. We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated person to work in a very busy office.

    The successful candidate should have one to three years’ experience in a professional environment. Salary is negotiable depending on the experience of the successful candidate.

    Key Functions:
    • Greets clients and guests in a friendly and professional manner;
    • Maintains security by following appropriate procedures;
    • Maintains the professional presentation of the reception area;
    • Receive and stamp mail;
    • Receives and sends couriers Post time sheets, prepare letters, and accounts;
    • Maintain and scheduling boardrooms, arranging conference calls;
    • Post disbursements;
    • Receive and code runner changes, example, Land titles, searches, etc.
    • Ordering supplies and stocking supply storage rooms;
    • POD’s – sign for and email to appropriate person;
    • Update phone list;
    • Keep coffee stations and lunch rooms tidy;
    • Daily absentee e-mail;
    • Overnight bag;
    • Update law library books, cards daily;
    • Other duties as you become accustom to the duties above.

    Requirements;
    • Minimum of 1 – 3 years’ reception experience in a professional environment;
    • Knowledge of basic legal concepts, principles, and terminology;
    • Excellent communication skills;
    • Meticulous records maintenance skills;
    • Exceptional organization skills;
    • Basic to intermediate skills in MS Word, Excel and Outlook;
    • Ability to multitask and work independently;
    • Ability to provide quality service to our clients.
