More About Armand

Armand is senior counsel at Bishop & McKenzie. Armand practices banking and finance law for commercial real estate in Bishop & McKenzie’s Calgary office. With more than 40 years’ experience, he skillfully represents domestic and international financial institutions on a wide range of financing transactions. Armand also represents commercial real estate developers, vendors and purchasers.

Armand has been honored with the Martindale-Hubbell Distinguished BV Peer Review Rating and in 2023, Best Lawyers in Canada recognized him for Real Estate Law.

He is a past member of the editorial board for the Alberta Residential Conveyancing Guide Practice Manual, and a past member of the membership committee of the Alberta New Home Warranty Program. In his community, Armand is a past member of the board of directors for the Kidney Foundation of Canada. Today, his professionalism extends to volunteer work with the Law Society of Alberta as a practice mentor.

Besides law, Armand is passionate about sports cars and music. He’s also an ardent cinephile who has attended the Cannes International Film Festival and other world-renowned gatherings of filmmakers. He enjoys travelling the world —as long as there’s a low-key beach destination somewhere on the itinerary.
