Cristina is a born and raised Edmontonian. After earning her JD from the University of Alberta, she moved to Toronto for an adventure and to complete her articles as duty counsel with Legal Aid Ontario (criminal and family law), where she has worked as a litigator ever since.
Her hometown called her back in 2018 where she has been practicing general civil litigation at both a small and mid-sized local firm.
Cristina has appeared before the Alberta Court of Justice, the King’s of Alberta, and the Human Rights Tribunal of Alberta. Cristina has represented both corporate and individual clients in a wide range of civil litigation matters, and provides pragmatical advice and representation. She values continuous professional learning and creative problem solving.
Outside of the office she enjoys snowboarding and hiking in the Rockies (sorry Ontario, Blue Mountain doesn’t count), exploring Edmonton’s burgeoning restaurant scene, and failing at new arts and craft courses with her friends.
