David was called to the Alberta Bar in 2022 and currently practices as an Associate in Bishop & McKenzie’s Corporate and Commercial group in Edmonton. David’s practice includes advising clients in relation to a broad range of corporate and commercial matters, including mergers and acquisitions, share and asset purchase transactions, corporate reorganizations, and other matters of corporate governance. Prior to joining Bishop & McKenzie, David practiced as a corporate associate for a large international firm where he gained extensive experience in corporate and commercial law.

David attended the University of Calgary, Faculty of Law, where he spent his time volunteering with Student Legal Assistance and ProBono Students Canada, assisting low-income and self-represented clients navigate the legal system. Prior to law school, David obtained his Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Alberta School of Business, majoring in Business Law and Economics.

When not at work, David enjoys playing basketball, travelling with his family and friends, and spending time with his two French Bulldogs, Gus and Penny.
