Doug works hard to create success for his clients. As a partner at Bishop & McKenzie, he focuses his practice in Real Estate Law with an emphasis on industrial and commercial leasing for landlords, and foreclosures for banks and other lenders.

Equally active in the community, Doug spent six years as Chair of the Edmonton Food Bank Board, and is now their Director Emeritus and Past Chair. As Chair of WeCan Cooperative for Community and Economic Development, Doug helped to establish a job-search resource office and community garden within a low-income area of Edmonton.

The lawyers of Bishop & McKenzie have many reasons to practice here, but for Doug—beyond the fulfilling work—it’s more personal. His wife is a lawyer here as well.

When Doug’s isn’t fast at work serving his clients’ best interests, he’s likely enjoying the company of his family, out on an adventure, enthralled in a book, or somewhere on the back nine.
