Kari is a partner at Bishop & McKenzie. Her litigation practice focuses on collections and security enforcement for financial institutions and private lenders. In her general litigation work, she specializes on disputes involving contracts, shareholders and real property, and in real estate, she handles both residential and commercial transactions.
Kari has experience volunteering with the Edmonton Community Legal Centre and Pro Bono Lawyers of Alberta. She is also a past-executive member of the Law Day Committee, and a former cast member of the Players de Novo, a group of fundraising thespians from Edmonton’s legal community. She has volunteered her time as a member of the board of directors of the WILDNorth Rehabilitation Society of Edmonton, and is a long-time volunteer with the Canadian Bar Association.
She enjoys walking the family’s dog, running, yoga, volleyball, skiing and snowboarding, golf, travel and spending time at home with her two young children.
