More About Mark T.

Mark is a Student at Law with Bishop & McKenzie. Before attending law school, he obtained an undergraduate degree in English and History from the University of Alberta, graduating in 2016 with distinction and a Certificate of International Learning.


After gaining valuable hands-on experience in the workforce, Mark returned to the University of Alberta to pursue his Juris Doctor degree. During his time studying law, he volunteered with Student Legal Services and was a member of the law school’s intramural volleyball team. Mark made the Dean’s List, earning him the Faculty of Law Undergraduate Scholarship, and was also awarded the Canadian Energy Law Foundation Prize for outstanding academic performance in the field of Energy Law. Mark graduated his Juris Doctor program with distinction in 2025.


Having worked at Bishop & McKenzie as a Summer Student following his first year of law school, Mark is eager to resume his role supporting lawyers and clients in all practice areas of the firm. Outside of work, he enjoys playing music, running, and spending quality time with his family and friends.
