Megan is a partner at Bishop & McKenzie LLP who practices in Wills & Estate, including Estate Administration, Estate Litigation, Adult Guardianship and Trusteeship Applications, and Estate Planning, as well as Litigation and Dispute Resolution, Residential Real Estate, and Foreclosure, including condominium foreclosures. In her experience as a lawyer, Megan has represented clients at all levels of Alberta’s courts, including the Alberta Court of Justice, the Court of King’s Bench of Alberta, and the Alberta Court of Appeal. Her experience spans a broad range of legal issues, making her a versatile advocate for individuals and businesses alike.

A graduate of the University of Alberta, Megan received several awards and scholarships during her legal studies, underscoring her commitment to excellence in the legal field. Megan also believes in using her legal degree and knowledge to make a positive impact on the community. She currently serves as Co-Chair for the Canadian Bar Association’s Young Lawyers’ Section, she is on the executive of LEAF – Women’s Legal Education and Action Fund’s Edmonton branch, and she regularly volunteers for the Edmonton Community Legal Centre. Megan also volunteers her time as a board member of the Edmonton District Soccer Association.
In her personal time, Megan enjoys reading, weightlifting, playing soccer, running, and spending time with her dogs, family, and friends. She values maintaining a healthy balance and finds that these activities help her stay grounded and energized for both her professional and personal endeavors.
