Santina is an articling student with Bishop & McKenzie. From the University of Alberta she received her Bachelor of Arts with Honors in Political Science in 2020 and her Juris Doctor in 2023. Prior to graduation, she also worked at Bishop & McKenzie as a Summer Student where she gained practical and invaluable experience that helped guide her through her law school journey

During university she volunteered with the Leftovers Foundation helping battle the issue of food waste in Edmonton and throughout her time in law school, she volunteered for Student Legal Services as a caseworker where she provided legal assistance to low-income individuals in the criminal and civil law projects. She also participated in the Dean’s Cup Moot and dedicated much of her time to mentoring incoming and first year law students through the challenges of exam taking, memo writing, and summer recruitments.

Santina was born and raised on a farm which not only taught her the importance of having a strong work ethic, but also sparked a great interest in spending as much time as possible outside. In particular, she enjoys camping, hiking, and snowboarding. When the weather isn’t cooperating, she loves to spend her time inside baking and reading.
