Zoe is an articling student at Bishop & McKenzie. She earned her Juris Doctor degree in French, equipping her to provide fully bilingual legal services.
While pursuing her law degree, Zoe volunteered with Pro Bono Students Canada, where she discovered a strong passion for assisting individuals in need. She served as Co-President of the Law Games committee and was also known as the resident Music Bingo organizer at her university.
During her studies, Zoe gained valuable experience working as the Legal and Policy Coordinator at the New Brunswick Refugee Clinic, supporting refugees through each stage of their claims. In her final year, she became the Pro Bono Students Canada Coordinator, furthering her commitment to social justice and community support. She looks forward to integrating these experiences into her legal practice.
Zoe has been recognized with several awards, including "Law Student of the Year" in the Faculty of Law and the prestigious Justice Rosalie Silberman Abella Prize. This national award honors one graduating law student from each Canadian law school who shows exceptional potential to advance equity and social justice in Canada or globally.
At Bishop & McKenzie, Zoe is eager to explore all areas of law the firm offers. She is currently in her litigation rotation and will be starting her solicitor rotation in 2025.
Outside of work, Zoe enjoys spending time with her dogs, being with family, and heading to the mountains whenever possible.
