Phil has had a remarkable career starting with the firm in 1969 as a student, an associate, a partner and, later as counsel. Throughout, he has made countless contributions to both the firm and to the profession. His practice covered a wide gambit of civil trial and appeal work with a general emphasis on construction litigation, major personal injury and wrongful death litigation, expropriation litigation and insurance matters. Notably, his work and cases resulted in several opportunities to appear in front of the Supreme Court of Canada.
