We understand the challenges in the spread of COVID-19 and the global pandemic declaration by the World Health Organization (WHO). At Bishop & McKenzie LLP, we have been planning and implementing various precautionary measures and adjusting our operations to make efforts to ensure the health and safety of our employees, clients and families, and of the greater communities in which we operate. We will continue to monitor the situation as it changes.
We are taking every opportunity and making every effort to ensure this situation does not impact the excellent quality of service and support that our lawyers and staff provide every day to our clients.
Our offices in Calgary and Edmonton remain physically open at this time, but we are preparing for an increasing number of our team members to work remotely. This will allow us to provide uninterrupted, effective and efficient service to our clients in line with recommended best practice and anticipated further restrictions on movement and increased social distancing directives.
We have also implemented policies to limit or eliminate all business and personal travel, events and meetings and are continually providing our people with the most current health information from WHO, Health Canada and Alberta Health Services.
