Norm is a partner at Bishop & McKenzie. His legal practice emphasizes commercial transactions, financial regulatory work, commercial leasing, film and television, and software and technology licensing. He is also a registered trademark agent.

Norm relishes the arts, and as a native Edmontonian is a steadfast supporter of the city’s vibrant arts community. He has had a longstanding association with the Alberta Media Production Industries Association, and has sat on the boards of the Edmonton Art Gallery (now the Art Gallery of Alberta), Government House, and Edmonton’s Northern Light Theatre.

When not immersed in his day job, Norm unwinds by playing the drums in a number of rock, blues and R&B bands that perform regular charity gigs. He’s also a longtime back-country skier and hiker.
