Doug is a partner at Bishop & McKenzie. His practice in real estate law emphasizes retail, industrial and commercial leasing for landlords, and foreclosures for banks and other lenders.

Doug is the former president of the Paper Chase Recycling Project (which recycled and sold office waste paper before commercial interests realized such an enterprise was profitable). He also chaired the WeCan Cooperative for Community and Economic Development, a pioneering non-profit organization that established a job-search resource office and community garden in a low-income area of the city.

When he and his wife are not shuttling children to hockey or ringette practices, Doug relaxes by running and playing golf. He’s also learning to speak French, the better to enjoy his family’s annual sojourn in Paris.
